Kathmandu. In the Central Working Committee of the Nepali Congress, the leaders of the establishment group, Dr. Shekhar Koirala has countered the group. They have accused the Shekhar group of failing to accept the defeat in the General Convention.

The Shekhar group had held a separate meeting before the party’s central working committee meeting on Monday, which raised serious questions about Deuba. The group accused President Deuba of failing to run the government as he could not become the president of those who did not vote for him.

On the first day of the meeting at the party office, Sanepa, on Monday, Dr. Shekhar had questioned Deuba on issues including the decision to remove the governor and the involvement of unauthorized persons in budget formulation.

In Tuesday’s meeting, the central members of the establishment group have come out in protest of the Shekhar group. Some leaders called Dr. Pointing to Shekhar, he objected to the media coverage of the meeting.

Central member Jit Jung Basnet said that President Deuba had sent him to the General Convention for his information. He questioned Shekhar’s statement. He said, “If it was said at that time, we would also support it.” But now you have made some agenda and protested. ‘

Central member Ram Hari Khatiwada said that there was a tendency to protest in any case. Instead of being happy that the Congress has become the largest party for the first time since 2049 BS, he protested, saying, “If there was no alliance, would we have a Prime Minister and a Home Minister?” How much would we have won if the Oli government had held elections? ‘

Stating that they were trying to discredit the chairperson by holding a meeting at a hotel while the state and House of Representatives elections were ahead, he questioned whether the party would be strengthened by defaming each other.

Dr. Khatiwada Pointing to Shekhar, he accused the media of covering the meeting. Central member Mahendra Limbu said that he should not act as he knows only, while senior leader Ram Chandra Poudel also said that there would be a limit to different opinions, said a leader.

According to a central member of the Shekhar group, the leaders of the establishment group defended the president in a planned manner at Tuesday’s meeting.

‘I will make Congress the first party, there will be an alliance’

In the meeting of the Central Working Committee, the leaders seem to be moderate about the electoral alliance. Leaders in favor of a nationwide electoral alliance argued that the Congress should not give up its candidacy in their constituencies.

Central member Mohan Basnet says, “I am in favor of the alliance, but in Sindhupalchowk, if I did not get a ticket and got someone else from the alliance, I will not be accepted.” I have won the Congress in my constituency. Even if someone gives 100 million, I will not stay in proportional representation. ‘

He said that the officials in his area had manipulated him and warned him not to interfere in the affairs of others.

After others have made similar arguments, Chairman Sher Bahadur Deuba has made it clear that there will be an alliance in the upcoming election. Stating that he will make the Congress strong and the first party in the upcoming elections, he said that he will form an alliance for that.

He was also accompanied by senior leader Ram Chandra Poudel. Stating that there is a conflict between those who want to make a constitution and those who don’t, he told the media after the meeting, “We have to take those who want to save the constitution.”

Spokesperson Dr. Prakash Sharan Mahat also said that there would be both positive and negative aspects of the alliance. Admitting that he had to support others even when he was older in some places, he told the media after the meeting, “Looking at that level only, I wonder why he did this.” But overall, those few votes turn victory into defeat and defeat into victory. ‘

“Everyone is aware of the consequences of forming an alliance,” he said. We all agree that understanding should be developed based on the study of who has what influence in which place.
